Daniel Doebner was born in Germany in 1974.
He discovered spray can Art in 1990. Since 1996 he has been presenting his art work across Europe and further within exhibitions, projects and commissioned work. Going back to study Illustration from 2001 till 2005 at the University for Applied Sciences in Munster (Germany) he focused on children’s books, deepened his knowledge of illustration and has gone on to help publish four books and six board/card games until today.
Since 2005 he has lived in Amsterdam and in addition to Illustration he broadened his skills as a digital visualiser for advertising companies in the Netherlands. Daniel is a versatile illustrator and artist who likes to experiment a lot with analogue techniques and surfaces of all kinds. His current series of paintings „animal tunes“ combines illustrative black and white animal characters, painted on canvas. The background of each canvas is painted with coffee in different intense levels.
